The ACU Wildcats Take on the Texans, Fueled by Alon/DK

Abilene, Texas – The ACU Wildcats took on longtime rival Tarleton Texans on February 1st in Moody Coliseum. Alon/DK Fuel, proud sponsors of the ACU Wildcats, added to the fun by giving out light-up foam sticks to fans, lighting up the arena with Wildcat spirit.

At halftime, the excitement continued with a spirited promotion featuring two teams of students. Each team raced to assemble a jumbo puzzle, one DK station and one Alon station, with a twist – they had to sink a basket before placing each piece. The competition intensified, but the ladies clinched victory with just 2 seconds to spare!

“What an exciting game to witness as official sponsors of both teams”, Jordan Earley of Alon/DK Fuel expressed. “It has been a close one, but the energy and enthusiasm from the fans is what makes these events so fun.” Though the Texans pulled out the win by a couple of points, it was a memorable night for all and Alon/DK looks forward to more exciting moments ahead this season.
